Project 365 -Day 11
Project 365 – Day 11…
Office Space. My morning spot today. Love my garden when it’s cool enough to enjoy and mornings are the best!
I should be much further along with this project but knee surgery set me back much further than I’d planned. Trying to get back into a good routine-wish me luck!

Project 365- Day 10
Day Eight – Monday in the Park
I am thankful to all who made it possible for our country to celebrate Memorial Day each year. This year we stayed close to home to catch up on some work but I couldn’t pass up the chance to spend a few minutes walking around my favorite park, otherwise known as Oklahoma State University! This particular picture was taken around 7:30pm in the evening. It looks like the ducks were already settling in for a nap in the foreground, the soft splatter of one of several fountains in the water nearby. In the distance is the big pond, Theta Pond and further away, setting the backdrop is the beautiful Zeta Tau Alpha home with its turquoise door. It was a lovely afternoon!

Day Seven – A good day at the ballpark.
Today I accompanied my husband to watch his beloved OSU Cowboys play for the Big 12 Baseball Championship. This team barely made the cut to be in the tournament and were seated 8th of 8 teams. This year two players on this team played with my son when he was little and he’s still close friends with them. So it was a joy to watch them playing and each time I saw one of them I couldn’t help but think about them at age 10 or 12 when the boys all played together. I have deep appreciation and love for their families as we spent so much time together and though we don’t see each other much these days it doesn’t take long to feel pride, stress and elation for them as we watched an outstanding game! It came down to the last pitch and the Cowboys came out victorious! With a bum knee and feeling unsure of my steps in a crowd, my best shot was from my seat. Yesterday was a great day to be a Cowboy!! Go Pokes!

Day Six-Project 365-I’ll stand on my head for food!!
Day Five-Project 365
I drove by the new town Splash Pad on my way home and was fascinated by the light as the sun was setting over the park. I had to turn and snap some pictures.
From the look of all the kids and families in the small park as we stopped it’s been a great investment for Stilwater. Summer fun!
